Flush Orange
#ff6f01
Softer, deeper orange with grounded UI emphasis
About Flush Orange
On my screen, Flush Orange feels like heat you can hold in your palm. It's bright and clean, but it doesn't tip into the heavier, clay-brown depth of Butternut Squash, and it's less ember-leaning than Arancio. The undertone reads more pure orange than red-muddied, so it lands more "fresh signal" than "materials."
For UI, I grab it for food e-commerce category banners and product cards when I want warmth that still feels crisp at a glance. It also works well in travel apps for route chips and promo tiles where you need urgency without the deeper settlement of Butternut Squash. Think the one you reach for when you want a CTA that feels energetic but not fiery.
One small quirk: on very light, cool photography, it can look louder than the surrounding yellows. In those cases, pair it with softer neutrals and keep secondary actions less saturated so it stays intentional.
