Pumpkin

Golden orange midtone for warm dashboard emphasis
About Pumpkin
I keep catching Pumpkin on packaging mockups where someone tried to make Heat Wave feel a little more grown up. This shade sits brighter than Butternut Squash, but it doesn't go as clay-toned or weighty as Arancio, so the whole orange reads cleaner and more lift in the midtones.
It lands at a sweet spot of high saturation with a clean, orange-forward undertone. Use it for filled CTA buttons, shipping and seasonal badge labels, and category tiles in grocery, e-commerce, and food delivery apps where you want visibility without the darker "food-stuff" grounding of Butternut Squash. It's also a solid choice for motion states and onboarding highlights when you want heat that feels playful rather than sunburnt calmer like Heat Wave.
Pair Pumpkin with cream, warm gray, or deep charcoal so it doesn't fight the text. If you push it onto large photo areas, keep surrounding neutrals quiet or it can start to feel a bit loud.
