Cleaner, medium-dark cool green for readable UI
About PCB Green
PCB Green hits like a freshly cleaned circuit board under shop lights, not like a wet forest floor. It's punchier and more upright in temperature than Haunted Forest and Haunted Hills, and it doesn't carry that damp, slate-murk drift. Compared to Dark Serpent, it stays greener and clearer, with less of the sooty, specimen-label austerity.
For UI, I use it as a PCB Green anchor dark, where the surface needs to feel engineered and steady, not naturally shadowed. It works well behind map legend backgrounds and hard edges in GIS layers for forestry and watershed monitoring, plus status blocks in utility field-maintenance and compliance workflows. Put it under crisp off-whites and cool grays and it reads clean even with lots of small text.
Quirk: because it's greener and slightly brighter than those near-blacks, it can feel too assertive for full-page fills. Great for headers, cards, and panels, less so as the only background if your UI is mostly dense forms.
