Lindworm Green
#172808
Deeper yellow-leaning green for lifelike dashboards
About Lindworm Green
Lindworm Green feels like freshly cut pigment on weathered plywood, not like a misty forest floor. Compared to Haunted Forest's damp chill and darker woods-only mood, this one is cleaner and more deliberate, with less of that pooling shadow. It also avoids Dark Serpent's sooty seriousness and the olive-leaning drift that can show up when greens get over-muted. And unlike Darkest Forest, which settles into a dense, hazy quiet, Lindworm stays awake in the mid-dark range.
I use it as a mid-tone surface when the layout still needs hierarchy but the UI can't go heavy. Think utility field maintenance status blocks, environmental workflow screens for watershed monitoring, and map legend panels that need to hold attention without reading as near-black. It's also strong for card headers in fleet and compliance consoles where you want a green that reads "active" rather than "submerged."
Pair it with crisp cool grays or true off-whites; warmer creams can push it toward an earthy, slightly muddier look.
