Vibrant Blue
#0339f8
High-saturation cobalt-blue lift over purple undertones
About Vibrant Blue
On a dark canvas, Vibrant Blue reads like a punchy sky-blue that's been disciplined with a purple family undertone. It's not as heavy as C64 Blue, so it doesn't feel weighted or hard-edged. And it doesn't open up like Rare Blue does, so you get lift without turning into neon. Compared to Magic Ink, it feels brighter and cleaner, with less of that pressed-ink depth.
I reach for it when the UI needs blue that stays in the Purple family while still feeling crisp. It's a great fit for music production software, live editing timelines, and broadcast graphics where you want selection states, playheads, and key controls to pop without looking corporate-clean. It also holds up nicely in streaming overlays and editorial motion layouts, because the color stays forward even as backgrounds get busy.
Pair it with light neutrals and restrained violet or magenta accents. Go too warm and it starts to drift away from that controlled blue-purple snap.
