Midnight Escapade
#2b3458
Crisp indigo-violet for crisp, late-night UI accents
About Midnight Escapade
Midnight Escapade reads like a midnight-purple that's been pulled slightly toward indigo, but it doesn't turn into the calmer, ink-soft blue of Mediaeval Blue. Compared with Galaxea, it feels a touch less "massy," with softer intensity and a more velvety glow. And relative to Deep Sea Base, it's not as bottom-anchored and heavy; it stays more present on the canvas without losing its purple-first identity.
I use it when you need hierarchy in dark UI that looks intentional, not strict. It's a solid fit for dashboards and finance apps where selected rows, chips, and primary borders shouldn't tip into steel-blue or gray-plum. In healthcare portals and admin tools, it works well for section headers and key action states in data-dense screens, especially in dark web and mobile layouts.
Pair it with cool grays and crisp whites, and keep accents fairly clean. If you introduce warmer neutrals, the indigo pull can start to look muddy fast.
