Deep Sea Base
#2c2c57
Cooler blue-violet for restrained, sea-floor contrast
About Deep Sea Base
Deep Sea Base looks like a purple ink pooled at the bottom of a dockside window, not a tint. Compared to Galaxea, it trades that steadier, more blue-cooled presence for a deeper, less "lit" feel. It also stays clearly purple instead of turning flat like Black Market, and it's more saturated and cooler than Azulado, so it doesn't feel as subdued.
I use it where you need dark UI that still reads as purple under mixed content, especially in dashboards and finance apps that show lots of secondary information. It's my the one you reach for when chip fills, focus rings, and selected-row states need to feel anchored, not airy or gray-plum. In fintech, analytics, and healthcare portals, it works well for section blocks, pressed controls, and high-priority borders that must hold contrast without drifting toward steel-blue.
One quirk: because it's deeper and more saturated than Azulado, it can feel heavy next to warm neutrals. Pair with cool grays and restrained off-whites so the purple stays confident.
