Sanctum of Shadows

Sanctum of Shadows reads like a velvet-dark purple that's been inked down, not grayed out. It's cooler than Maharaja, with less of that round, royal plush feel, and it avoids Midnight Pie's slightly crisp midnight clarity. Compared to Call It a Night, it leans a touch more subdued, so the color feels hushed rather than loud, with stronger depth than simple "dark purple."

I use it when you want purple presence without stealing attention from the layout. It's great for dark mode dashboards and finance apps, especially on selected states, filled icons, and chart series accents where you need a calm signal that won't feel steely or overly saturated. Think product analytics for streaming platforms, or admin panels for logistics and fintech.

Pair it with soft neutrals and keep secondary text a shade lighter than you think, because this one can swallow small type if you push contrast too far.
