Dusk
#4e5481
Deep bluish-violet dusk tone for focused UI panels
About Dusk
I see Dusk as the purple you get after the lights dim. It's noticeably more muted and slightly heavier than Freshly Purpleized, but it doesn't turn earthy like Berry Jam. Compared to Assassin, it stays purple-forward and softer in tone, with less of that steel-blue grip.
Use it when you need depth without drama: media playback controls, creator dashboards, and editorial sidebars where purple should feel intentional, not urgent. It's also solid for dark-mode UI accents like active states, focus outlines, and progress markers in music apps. In practice, it lands as a cooler dusk-toned purple that reads clean over dark greige and off-whites.
Quick note: on very bright surfaces it can feel a touch subdued, so pair it with clearer indigos or a slightly lighter violet for hierarchy. I reach for it when the interaction needs to look settled and controlled, not weighty like a deeper plum.
