Majestic Evergreen
#7d8878
Deeper sage-gray for grounded, steel-dim UI panels
About Majestic Evergreen
I keep seeing Majestic Evergreen show up as that quiet green-gray tint in photos where the shadows look a little steadier than the highlights. It has presence, but it doesn't read as heavy like Camo Clay, and it doesn't feel sunny or beige-leaning like Happy Hippo. Compared to Mummy's Tomb, it's slightly more green and a bit more composed, less dusty and less neutral.
For UI, this is the one you reach for when your secondary surfaces need to feel grounded without turning muddy. Think fleet and logistics portals, energy and facilities monitoring, or admin-heavy dashboards where tables and cards have to sit calmly beside content. It also works well behind charts in telecom and manufacturing apps, especially when your brand uses muted greens and charcoal type. Breathes easier than Armour but stays more deliberate than the lighter end of the gray family.
Pair it with crisp near-whites and cooler grays if you want contrast to pop. If you go too warm in your palette, it can start to look less gray and more "washed forest" fast.
