Mummy’s Tomb

Mummy's Tomb looks like a gray wall that's been lived with. Dusty and slightly muted, it reads steadier than Happy Hippo, which stays brighter and warmer, and it feels cleaner than Camo Clay, which has more earth and weight. Compared to Armour, it's not as midtone-green composed. This one sits closer to a neutral, balanced gray that doesn't lean cool or muddy out.

I reach for it when I want a secondary surface to feel calm but not "light enough to float." It's a good fit for settings panels in consumer apps, the quiet middle ground in health and logistics dashboards, and the background behind dense UI tables in editorial CMS layouts. It also holds up under photography heavy screens, especially where you need your images to lead while the UI stays present.

Pair it with darker text and softly saturated accents. If you use it with crisp cold whites, it can look a bit flatter than you expect, so let your typography carry the contrast.
