Silver Surfer
#7e7d88
Softer silver-gray with slightly violet coolness
About Silver Surfer
Silver Surfer has that calm, mid-light gray look you get when you catch polished metal under soft lighting. It feels more cool and clean than the dusk-tinted In the Twilight, and it reads slightly more dimensional than Lunar Outpost, which can feel a bit steadier and flatter. Against Mecha Metal, it's a touch lighter, with less of that warmed, machine-idle vibe, so your layout doesn't feel as "assembled" or heavy.
I use it when the UI needs a controlled neutral that still stays lively: table headers and row separators in logistics and inventory systems, card backgrounds for education course dashboards, and settings surfaces in healthcare portals where forms are dense and you can't afford color drama. It works especially well for media-heavy admin screens where you want the gray to hold the frame without muting the content.
Quirk: near near-whites it can start to look a little too "airbrushed." Keep borders crisp and let typography do the lifting so hierarchy stays sharp.
