Roasted Pepper
#890a01
Roasted orange-red with dark, earthy heat
About Roasted Pepper
Roasted Pepper hits like a roasted chili skin right off the pan: deep orange-red, but it doesn't go muddy. Compared to Indian Red and Netherworld, it stays cleaner in tone and feels more deliberate, with less grit and less "dim filter" haze.
This is the orange-family red I use when the heat needs to read controlled, not bruised or smothered. It's the one you reach for in dashboards and finance apps when you want urgent highlights that still feel warm and grounded. For product UI and packaging, it works well on charcoal or near-black panels where Kiss of a Vampire can tip too garnet and Netherworld can lose clarity under chrome.
Pair it with brushed silver, cream paper, or clay neutrals so the orange side stays legible. If you surround it with cooler reds, it can start to look like it's fading at the edges.
