Warm, earthy brew for grounded green UI
About Home Brew
Home Brew is the kind of green you see on an old paper catalog cover, where the ink has settled and the warmth comes through more than the brightness. It's darker than Antique and less gray, so it doesn't read quiet and neutral. Compared to Chocolate Velvet, it keeps more green character and feels less brown-leaning. And unlike Boa, it's not as heavy or saturated, so it won't clamp down on the layout.
I reach for it when I want grounded backgrounds that still let typography lead, especially in editorial backgrounds and healthcare interfaces where you need calm, not flat. It also holds up on long-form reading layouts and product pages for brands that want "crafted" without going full earth-olive.
Quirk: at smaller sizes it can feel a touch weighty, so test it behind thin UI text. For pairing, warm blacks and softened creams keep the undertone friendly rather than muddy.
