Low-saturation forest neutral for softer, cooler UI

About Mushroom Forest

Think of the underside of a mushroom cap after the rain, that soft, earthy -brown haze you only notice once the light is low. Mushroom Forest lands in the family, but it feels muddier and more muted than 's quieter neutrality. It also reads less like 's paper-warm darkness, because the stays more present and less ink-set.

On screens, I use it for editorial backgrounds where you want a calm field without going gray, and for healthcare interfaces that need depth behind dense information. It's solid for long-form reading layouts, internal tools, and product pages that can't afford a strong personality. Compared to 's warm gold-leaning presence, Mushroom Forest holds the warmth back and stays earth- instead of turning brass.

Small caution: in tight UI blocks, it can look slightly heavier than you expect, so pair it with lighter creams or off-whites for type and charts.
