Mushroom Forest

About Mushroom Forest
Think of the underside of a mushroom cap after the rain, that soft, earthy green-brown haze you only notice once the light is low. Mushroom Forest lands in the Green family, but it feels muddier and more muted than Antique's quieter neutrality. It also reads less like Home Brew's paper-warm darkness, because the green stays more present and less ink-set.
On screens, I use it for editorial backgrounds where you want a calm field without going gray, and for healthcare interfaces that need depth behind dense information. It's solid for long-form reading layouts, internal tools, and product pages that can't afford a strong green personality. Compared to Banner Gold's warm gold-leaning presence, Mushroom Forest holds the warmth back and stays earth-green instead of turning brass.
Small caution: in tight UI blocks, it can look slightly heavier than you expect, so pair it with lighter creams or off-whites for type and charts.
