Wilderness

Wetter, muddier green-brown neutral for trail UIs
About Wilderness
I keep coming back to Wilderness when I want that quiet forest-and-dust look you see on a shaded path after a long spell of dry weather. It's green, but it doesn't lean toward the aged neutrality of Antique or the muddier earth haze of Mushroom Forest. Compared to those, this one sits a bit brighter and cleaner, with more of a steady, grounded undertone than the brined yellow-green of In a Pickle.
On UI and editorial surfaces, it holds up as a backdrop that doesn't feel gray. It's my pick for editorial backgrounds where photos or charts need breathing room, and for healthcare interfaces that benefit from a calm, consistent field behind dense content. I also like it in product detail pages for sections that need to feel outdoorsy without turning brass or turning sour.
If you pair it with warm creams and deeper green-black text, it stays level. Push it next to very yellow accents and it can start to look a touch more muted than you expected, so I usually keep the highlight color slightly cooler.
