Perrywinkle
#8f8ce7
Balanced pale periwinkle with violet-cool clarity
About Perrywinkle
On my screen, Perrywinkle lands between a soft denim haze and a lilac tint, not as icy as it looks at first glance. It's lighter than Cold Lips but still clearly purple, and it doesn't go airy and marker-like the way Orchid can. The undertone reads calm and slightly cool, with a gentler grip than the more assertive blues-or-violet edge of those neighbors.
I tend to use it when I want purple identity without the clinical bite, especially for dashboards and SaaS dashboards in product analytics, logistics portals, and education platforms. It's great for selected tabs, progress callouts, and secondary actions where you want the interface to feel steady, not tense. Compared to Dreamy Candy Forest, it's cleaner and more structured, less candy-soft and less grounded-mauve.
Pair it with crisp, neutral grays and you'll keep it crisp. Next to very warm accents it can look a little washed, so I'd bump the contrast with darker text or a deeper purple token.
