Periwinkle

Icy lavender periwinkle for crisp, airy sections
About Periwinkle
Periwinkle feels like a soft lilac cloud that got tugged toward the blue side without turning icy. It's airy, but not as washed as Orchid, and it holds its purple identity more firmly than Perrywinkle tends to: the undertone here reads calm-cool, slightly more saturated, with a smoother, less denim-hazy finish than that neighbor.
I use it when the UI needs a light, confident purple that won't feel clinical or "ink-heavy." It's a solid choice for dashboards and SaaS dashboards, onboarding steps, and subtle progress states in analytics or logistics portals where you still want brand color but not a loud accent. Compared to Matt Purple, it stays lighter and more breathable, so it plays nicer on dense screens and long content pages.
Quirk: put it next to very pale tints and it can look a bit flat, so give it some contrast with deeper grays or a stronger purple token. Pair it with crisp neutrals when you want the one I reach for that feels restrained, not tense.
