Magic Carpet

Softer, warmer purple-lavender for grounded UI accents
About Magic Carpet
I keep seeing Magic Carpet land between a clean periwinkle tint and a more grounded lavender, but it never commits to either side. It's a medium-light purple with a calm, cool lean and a noticeably smoother, less muted texture than Aster's dustier feel. Compared with Enchanted Lilac, it holds more color depth, so it reads like an intentional surface color instead of a whispery highlight.
This is my go-to when the design needs dashboards and finance apps to feel friendly without turning playful. I use it for selected states, subtle progress fills, and pill controls in SaaS admin screens, plus callout backgrounds in learning platforms where you want the tint to stay readable on everyday UI neutrals. It's also a solid pick for product screenshots and explainer frames because it stays clearly purple like Easter Egg, but with more presence and less misted softness.
Just don't set it beside near-whites that are too blue or you'll lose its purple identity and it can start to feel washed.
