Muted Berry

Dusty cool berry mauve for subdued UI
About Muted Berry
Muted Berry reads like the inside of a ripe berry after it's been left in shade a moment. It's pink, but not the cheerful kind. It sits more earthy and dusky than Amorous, which drifts mauve-cool and feels heavier. And unlike Drama Queen, it never turns fuchsia-forward. It also stays calmer than Fruit of Passion, keeping its berry-leaning hush instead of going winey-mauve.
I like it for UI surfaces where you need presence without pulling focus. Think e-commerce product cards, wellness and lifestyle dashboards, and creator tools for secondary states like chips, tags, and "selected" filters. It's the one you reach for when the layout is mostly cream, soft gray, or warm neutrals and you still want a pink accent that won't feel loud on the screen.
Pair it with cocoa browns, muted rose, or a deeper plum-gray if you want it to read richer. On very bright whites, it can look slightly flatter, so I usually add a darker border or a warmer background behind it.
