Spicy Cinnamon
#a85624
Spicier, cinnamon-orange brown that reads warmer
About Spicy Cinnamon
Spicy Cinnamon looks like the first shake of ground spice on a warm kitchen counter. It's a burnt orange-brown with a noticeable cinnamon heat, but it stays more lively and saturated than Sienna, and it reads less muted and smoky than Garfield.
For UI, I use it when I want the one you reach for on small surfaces that still need presence: button hover and active states, pill badges, and section headers in commerce and editorial layouts. It's especially strong for spice and snack brands where the color should feel warm without drifting toward Brandy Bear's flatter amber leather. In media, it holds up in product grids and packaging mockups for roasting, bars, and condiment lines where you want spice-forward warmth with a cleaner edge.
One quirk: next to heavy creams it can feel a touch fiery, so I usually soften it with oat, sand, or warm gray to keep it from getting too "shake-and-go."
