Valentine Lava
#ba0728
Slightly lighter lava red-orange for warmth
About Valentine Lava
Valentine Lava looks like a hot red-orange that still reads clearly as red, not coral. Compared with Pixel Bleeding and Nippon, it has more orange heat and a tighter, denser saturation, so it feels punchier without turning wine-cold or overly "brand-red" clean.
On a screen it comes off medium-deep, with a confident, molten warmth that works great for dashboards and finance apps when you want urgency that won't flatten into a softer warning orange. I also like it for e-commerce and logistics UIs, especially status pills, error highlights, and sticky notification accents where the color needs to stay legible against dark panels. It's my the one you reach for when you need a red that leans orange just enough to feel alive, while still feeling controlled.
One thing to watch: on very warm creams it can drift further toward ember-red and compete with marigold-ish accents. Cool grays keep it locked into its lava identity.
