Turnip the Pink
#e5717b
Lighter blush-pink coral, gentler than Pastrami
About Turnip the Pink
Turnip the Pink reads like a light petal with a gentle orange blush, not that dusty, sticker-like heat you get from Redstone. Next to Old Heart, it feels fresher and less bruised, more airy in its warmth. Compared with Pastrami, it hangs onto more pink in the mix, so it shows up as a softer "rose-orange" instead of drifting fully peach.
I use it in dashboards and finance apps when I want the primary accent to feel friendly, but I don't want the color to tip either way toward straight red heat (Redstone) or deeper, stained warmth (Old Heart). It's great for onboarding cards, step indicators, and lightweight callouts in workflow UIs, plus cover-state labels in media apps where you want "noticed" without "alarm." the one you reach for when Pastrami starts to look too peachy, but Coral Commander's punch would be too loud.
Quirk: on large fills it can feel a bit sweet and pastel, so I keep it to pills, borders, and highlights rather than full panels.
