About Golden Lion
On a mockup of a golden badge sticker, Golden Lion reads like a clean, sunlit thread rather than bakery crust. Compared to Golden Churro, it's less bakery-heat and less "fried" in feel, and it doesn't sit back into mellow cream. It's also not as honey-thick as Honeypot, and it avoids the pale, cream-forward softness of Choux à la Crème.
This one is lighter and more golden-forward, with a drier, slightly more muted undertone that keeps it from feeling sticky. I use it for product chips, pricing callouts, and small highlights in e-commerce and restaurant ordering UIs where you want "notice me" without going loud. It's also solid for landing pages in food, retail, and consumer apps when you're layering photos with a restrained UI colorway.
If you pair it with deep olive or heavy charcoal, give it a light neighbor too, or it can lose that crisp, fresh gold edge.
