Curry Bubbles
#f5b700
Lemon-gold bubble highlight, more saturated than nearby
About Curry Bubbles
Curry Bubbles reads like the bright yellow that forms at the top of a steaming bowl, but it stays cleaner and more green-leaning than that "curry gold" feeling you get from softer honey tones. It's lighter than the coin-like yellows, with a sunlit lift that doesn't go as assertive as Imperial Yellow's sharper punch.
For me, this is the one you reach for when you need a cheerful signal without tipping into orange or honeyed warmth. I use it a lot in dashboards and finance apps for state highlights, chips, and KPI badges where the accent should pop fast but not feel metallic like Goldfinger. It also works great on e-commerce hero banners and retail packaging details, especially when the surrounding greens are fresh and you want a "lively, not loud" callout. Compared with Glistening Dawn, Curry Bubbles holds onto that yellow clarity a beat longer, with less glare and less lantern snap.
Quirk: keep it away from very warm creams. It can look slightly too acidic next to beige; crisp whites or pale sage grounds it nicely.
