Naples Yellow
#fada5f
Golden yellow warmth for sunny, lighter green accents
About Naples Yellow
Naples Yellow feels like the first warm bounce off a plaster wall after sunrise. It's light, but it doesn't have the honeyed weight that makes deeper golds feel heavy. Compared with Here Comes the Sun, it's a touch more golden and less buttery-soft, so it keeps sharper definition on a white card. And unlike Lemon Tart, it doesn't go glossy or round; it stays clean and flat in tone.
I use it when you need more golden, less milky warmth for step markers and promo tags in retail and e-commerce, especially where the surrounding green is doing the heavy lifting. It's also my go-to for product thumbnail accents and delivery confirmation chips in logistics UI when you want "go" energy that stays readable without turning into the crisp sparkle vibe of Glitter Is Not Gold. Pair it with deeper evergreen or muted leaf outlines so it doesn't blend into fresh-lime areas.
Quirk: on very bright green backgrounds, it can slip toward a soft blur. A thin contrast border fixes that fast.
