Green Ooze
#e1fe52
Light chartreuse green for crisp, high-readability UI
About Green Ooze
Green Ooze reads like a fresh smear of lime paint that hasn't fully dried yet. It's light, but not pastel, and it carries a greener undertone than the lemon-leaning yellows nearby. Compared to Banana Bandanna's high-impact yellow saturation and Buttercup Glow's colder, more luminous pale gold, this one feels more swampy-light than highlighter-bright. It's also less punchy than Banana Bombshell, which lands more as pure saturation than this softer, fouler-leaning green.
Use it where you need "fresh attention" without turning the UI into a warning siren: sustainability dashboards, farm-to-table menus, game inventory highlights, and health or wellness app badges. I also like it for map callouts and editorial section tags when the rest of the layout is cream and butter tones, because it stays distinct without feeling as loud as the yellows.
Pair it carefully with warm off-whites and deep charcoal. With near-white backgrounds it can start to look slightly washed, so lean on contrast with weight or borders if you're using it for small UI text.
