Indigo Static

Indigo Static hits like a purple discharge line on a dark screen: cool, high-contrast, and a little grainy instead of smooth. It's more electric than Intergalactic Settlement, but it doesn't go as blue-forward as Gentian Blue. Compared to Galactic Civilization, it feels less space-dense and more like tight static, with a sharper edge to the undertone.

I use it when a UI needs dashboards and finance apps-style emphasis that stays disciplined on both light and dark. It's great for active links, selection outlines, and hover states on control surfaces, especially in streaming and media player chrome where you want interactivity to read fast without drifting toward the blue-gray look that can happen with Galactic Civilization.

One quirk: on very clean off-whites it can look slightly more saturated than you expect, so pair it with cool grays or neutral whites and avoid anything with a strong yellow cast.
